Student Representative Committee
Student voice is an important part of the school ethos. Leadership skills are promoted through the schools' Student Representative Committee (SRC).
Two student representatives are elected by each class to present any matters arising from class meetings and the collective views of their class, to the SRC. They also report back on SRC meetings to their class. The Junior Primary SRC has several sub groups. These include Fundraising, Environment, Public Relations and Special Events and Sports.
The student representatives join one of these groups, the purpose of which is to allow students to further develop their leadership, decision making, negotiating and communication skills and to take action in a wide range of areas within the school and wider community.
